I can’t believe March is here. Where did February go?
Time for the March Currently, care of the lovely Farley!
Listening: I am a lover of background noise; however, after a long day, I LOVE silence.
Loving: I am about half-way done with my Introduction to School Counseling course. I feel like a crazy person for saying this, but I really enjoy going to the class! I have a professor who really knows his stuff and I am learning A LOT each week.
Thinking: This is not an exaggeration… I just caught up on 1,000+ blog posts via Google Reader. Can you all stop posting so much?! Thank you.
Wanting: Self-explanatory. Dear Spring, I need you! ASAP!!!
Needing: Kind of contradicts my “wanting" … can we please have a really warm snow day? My district actually had its first snow day in 2 years a few weeks ago! It was lovely.
Like/Love/Hate: K is very tricky!! I like eating kiwi fruit. Yum! I love kids, obviously. What I REALLY do not like is… Klondike Bars! It’s a sensory thing. Something about crunching through the hard outer shell with smooshy ice cream on the inside gives me the heebie jeebies. I have issues…
Moving right along… Tania @ My Second Sense pointed out a neat project that Diane @ Fifth in the Middle has been working on! Diane created a blogger button for each state and is hosting a linky party for everyone to link up under their state! It’s pretty neat! I hope everyone links up… it would make blogger meet-ups much easier! I f you want to link up and add the image to your sidebar, just click on Fifth in the Middle and follow these steps:
1) Find your state and link up your blog
2) Save your state’s image to your computer
3) Add an “Image” gadget to your sidebar.
5) Upload the state image that you just saved
6) In the “link” section, copy and paste the following to send others back to Diane’s site to link up: http://fifthinthemiddle.blogspot.com/p/blogs-by-state_9707.html
7) Write about this on your blog so more people link up! :)

Andddd last, but not least, I am nearing 400 followers! Since I never noticed when I reached 300 followers and ran out of time when I hit 350 followers, it’s about time for me to have a giveaway! During the giveaway, I will be offering a few goodies and opening {finally} a Facebook page for EduKate and Inspire! Want to help?! If you would like to donate something for my giveaway, please comment on this post {don’t forget your email!} or send me an email to edukate.inspire at gmail dot com. Thanks blogging friends!! Have a great week!

Thanks for linking up and the tutorial. Quick question - What's the advantage to uploading to a photo service? I'm still new to this, and I had just been telling people to upload it as an image to their sidebar. Just want to know what to tell people :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!

I found you through the linky party! I've not heard silence in 4 years!!! :) I would love a snow day. We've only had 1 all year long and none last year! We usually get 4-5 a year! They are saying we MAY get snow on Wednesday!!! Hoping so!!

We haven't had ANY snow days this year, not one. And I live in Colorado so this is pretty much un heard of. But we're seriously lacking in the snow department this year. However, I too am itching for Spring...and that break we get when it arrives!! Haha. Yay on reaching 400 followers!
