Super Teacher Worksheets: A Review and Giveaway!

super teacher worksheets review

I am excited to bring you a review of the great website, Super Teacher Worksheets!  Super Teacher Worksheets was one of the first resource websites I found as a new teacher.  The site offers thousands of PDF worksheets for K-5 students.  As a 2nd grade teacher, I use the site when I need a quick printable assessment.  I also recommend the site to parents who are looking for extra practice for their children at home.  Super Teacher offers MANY of its resources for free and you can also pay $19.95 for a one year membership to have full access to the site {scroll down below to see how you can win a free 1 year membership!}

One great feature of Super Teacher is that it has printables for nearly every subject area!  Here is a quick snapshot of some of the topics you have access to as a member:

A new feature of Super Teacher Worksheets is the connection to the Common Core!  Once you find the topic that you are looking for, click on the little apple below the activity to see what Common Core standards are related to the activity.  For example, I found a great comprehension passage to use with my 2nd graders.  When I clicked the apple below the activity, here is what I saw:

Plus, Super Teacher is currently working on the ability to be able to list the worksheets by specific Common Core standards!

Another neat feature of Super Teacher Worksheets is the ability to generate your own worksheets.  You can make words searches, ABC order worksheets, word scrambles, quizzes, calendars, and math worksheets.  To check out the generators, click {here}.

A great feature for teachers and parents is the Filing Cabinet where you can save links to all of your favorite resources-- think of it as a bookmark page for quick access to your favorites!

One final thing I want to mention is that the folks at Super Teacher recently started a second website that focuses on SMART Board lessons.  Currently, all of the resources listed on the site are FREE!  Click on the image below to check out Modern Chalkboard.
